Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
The Atlantic Immigration Program is a federal-provincial partnership designed to help employers in Canada's four Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) hire qualified foreign workers and international graduates who want to live and work in Atlantic Canada.
AIP Streams
Atlantic High-Skilled Program
For skilled workers with a job offer in a high-skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) from a designated Atlantic employer.
Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program
For workers with a job offer in an intermediate-skilled occupation (NOC TEER 3 or 4) from a designated Atlantic employer.
Atlantic International Graduate Program
For international graduates from a recognized post-secondary institution in an Atlantic province with a job offer from a designated employer.

Eligibility Requirements
- Valid job offer from a designated Atlantic employer
- Minimum CLB 4-5 in English or French (varies by stream)
- Work experience (1 year for skilled workers, not required for graduates)
- Educational qualifications (high school diploma minimum)
- Settlement funds proof
- Intention to live in one of the Atlantic provinces
- Settlement plan from a designated settlement service provider
